WORLD JOURNAL – Tali Farhadian Weinstein, running for Manhattan district attorney under the Democratic banner, received endorsements from AAPEX, represented by Deputy Police Commissioner Hugh Mo, and Virginia Kee, founder of the Chinese American Planning Council and a senior member of the Asian Democratic on 22nd. Weinstein, herself an immigrant, said that if elected, she commits to dedicate the DA office to protecting immigrants’ rights and combating hate crimes. “No one should worry about their lives at home, in the street, or conducting business,” said Weinstein.
